Summer Abroad

I'm lucky to have a job that allows me to travel around the country to places I never would have thought to have gone on my own. But all the work travel made me miss traveling just for fun.  I decided last year that no matter what I was going to make it to Europe and luckily one week later, a chance came my way. A program through my school allowed MBA students to experience culture and business practices in several European countries, so of course I signed up. All I had to do is write a paper and get class credit, it was a no brainer!

I spent two weeks traveling around London, Paris, Zurich, and Milan, absorbing the culture and learning some of the issues small and large international businesses face. But most importantly to me, I was able to take a break from my daily routine and gain perspective.

Below are just a few the the HUNDREDS of photos I took!

No trip to London would be complete without a visit to Kings Cross Station. I simply needed to know if I would have gotten in to Hogwarts!

I of course had to take some type of artsy photo of this thing!

Hiking up the Swiss Alps is an adventure everyone should have!

The Domo is such an impressive work of art at the view from the top is even more amazing!

Now if it wasn't for the fact that I was able to take advantage of a school study abroad program (which I think all students should do), I would have used done some deal hunting and followed some of the instructions listed on one of my favorite sites, The Everygirl. The site has tons of tips for a new wanna be savvy traveler!
